Counseling Approach

I believe that everyone’s story is unique and deserves to be met with care and understanding. My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, honesty, and the belief that you are more than any one problem or diagnosis — you are a whole person, and you deserve to feel seen and supported as such.

In our work together, I draw from different tools and techniques based on what you need. This might include talking through how your thoughts and feelings are connected, learning ways to manage overwhelming emotions, practicing mindfulness, or exploring how your body holds stress. I also value how your culture, identity, and life experiences shape who you are and what you need from therapy.

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you here and what you hope to get out of therapy. From there, we’ll decide together what feels most helpful and comfortable for you.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at your own pace. I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward the version of yourself you want to be.
