Online Trauma & Anxiety Therapy for Adults in Texas

Culturally responsive online therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, childhood wounds, religious trauma, and the unique pressures of being a first-generation adult.

Maybe you've spent years being the strong one, silencing your needs, questioning your worth, overthinking everything, or carrying expectations that never left much room for you.

You’ve carried the weight of your past long enough. It’s time to exhale.

Quiet your inner critic, trust yourself, be at peace.

Hi, I'm Katherine, the owner and therapist at Serene Solutions Therapy.

I work with adults who have spent years in survival mode—overthinking, people-pleasing, questioning themselves, or carrying emotional wounds that continue to affect their relationships and sense of self.

My work focuses on trauma, anxiety, PTSD, childhood wounds, religious trauma, and the experiences of first-generation adults.

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I integrate EMDR and other therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, experiences, and goals.

Therapy isn't about erasing your past or becoming a completely different person. It's about understanding what happened, recognizing the patterns that helped you survive, and creating space for new ways of relating to yourself and others.

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

What Healing Can Begin to Look Like

Feeling Stuck in the Shadows of Your Past?

Maybe you’re successful on the outside but exhausted on the inside.

You overthink conversations, question your decisions, and feel guilty putting yourself first. You may find yourself people-pleasing, striving for perfection, or constantly trying to keep the peace.

Experiences from childhood, family, faith, relationships, or other painful parts of your past may still show up in ways you don’t always understand.

You might know logically that you’re safe now, yet your mind and body still seem prepared for something to go wrong.

These patterns can affect your relationships, confidence, boundaries, and ability to feel fully present in your life.

Therapy can help you understand where these patterns came from, process what you’ve experienced, and begin building a relationship with yourself that isn’t driven by fear, shame, or survival.

You don't have to keep navigating it alone.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

There is no single roadmap for healing, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship. Rather than trying to fit you into one method, I take time to understand your experiences, needs, strengths, and what you hope will feel different.

Together, we may explore patterns connected to your past, find ways to manage anxiety and emotional overwhelm, process painful experiences, strengthen boundaries, build self-compassion, and help you trust yourself again.

Most importantly, therapy happens at your pace.

My role isn’t to tell you who you should become. It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and support you as you decide what healing looks like for you.
